Where did your tattoo journey begin?

I started tattooing in Bairnsdale when I was 21 shortly after completing my bachelor of interactive entertainment for game design and animation. 

What styles of tattooing are your favourite?

I prefer colour realism and stipple grey wash realism. I’m very much influenced by pop culture, post-apocalyptic themes and Norse mythology. I also really enjoy doing Anime and water colour tattoos.

What are some passion projects you would like to take on?

I’m currently in the process of developing a unique glitch colour realism style focused particularly on video game, anime and comic book characters. I’d absolutely love to start putting them on skin.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work I try to keep up with graphite drawing, oil painting and working with pastels depending on how busy I am tattooing. I’m not a sports person but for fitness I practice Muay Thai with varying degrees of commitment. 

What is your #1 value in life, and how do you live this throughout your work life?

I’d say the primary principal I live by is integrity, being true to myself and dedicating my efforts to what I feel is meaningful. I’d say integrity manifests in my work through being well prepared, punctual, having an efficient workflow and striving for a coherent essence in every piece.
