Where did your tattoo journey begin?

I’ve always had a love for tattoo art and the culture. Ever since I was a young kid I knew I wanted to be covered in them! The road to getting into tattooing hasn’t been an easy one. My first attempt was when I was 21 and started an apprenticeship in a dodgy little shop in the Pakenham hub. They packed up and left to Queensland with a heap of people’s deposits and they didn’t even tell me they were closing up! I tried again when i was around 28 and put in a solid year and a half but life unfortunately got in the way. And here I am now, third time lucky and loving every minute of it!

What styles of tattooing are your favourite? 

I’d love to be tattooing black and gray ‘Neo-realistic’ portraits, pop culture influenced and dark gothic styles.

What are some passion projects you would like to take on?

I’ve constantly got ideas for different series of flash pages based on movies and musicians, cartoon characters etc. with mashups of styles to create fun and unique pieces.

What do you like to do outside of work? 

Drawing with my daughter Zara who is a talented young artist herself! Also I like exploring thrift shops, antique stores and markets with my kids and finding weird shit to put up around my house. Collecting Cacti, unique decor and making things. I like keeping fit and gym was a big part of my life until a few months back where I’ve slacked off a little bit I would love to get back into it. I enjoy music festivals and concerts and the occasion pub crawl with the boys!
